Interviews for the OSDM Course

(SOCI 5805)

Participants are to Interview (submit keyed-in transcripts) women and men - and especially from the margins (class, race, religion, sexual preference, other) - who have been dissenters in movements, NGOS, or political parties – one every two weeks, 2-5 pages long. The interviews are based on some degree of prior research into the organisation or movement in question, and of the role of the individuals, and with prepared questions that can also be handed in, if useful. The interviews attempt not to glorify the role of the dissenters but to critically document and analyse the issues they raise and the effects of their interventions.
